Wattson by diykyoto shows how much energy your home is using at any given time. It can show you in Watts or in £s (ouch!) - It can even show you in colour -changing light.
Wattson gets it's information from a transmitter attatched to your electricity meter or fuse box. It's portable so you can put it anywhere in your home. The idea is that it will show how much electricity you are using in your home and will hopefully help you to use less. The founders of Wattson have estimated you could save up to 20% on your electricity bills. That's quite a lot of money- enough for a new pair of shoes, or a candlelit dinner in a smart restaurant. And, of course you'd be doing your bit for the environment.
- Display unit shows power readings for the whole house within approx 30m of transmitter. Shows how much each electrical appliance uses when you switch it on or off,

- Coloured mood light, which breathes and pulses and also changes colour when you alter how much electricity you use, cool blue for small amount of electricity being used, warning red for high energy consumption. Great for getting Kids on board for energy saving!
